Hello, I would like to add some introductory html text (so I can add links and images) to a category page.

I have been searching for it and I am sure it can be done, however I still haven't been able to find specific information for Genesis.

The idea is to have some content in the category pages before the links to the categorised posts appear. The child theme is Metro Pro.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you in advance.

    Hi,

If you are talking about category archive pages, go to Posts - Categories and click Edit for the category you want to add the text to.
Scroll down to Category Archive Settings and you can set a headline and intro text

Thanks Cristoph, I just didn't know that text area could use html but I have checked it and works 🙂 However the background is grey so I guess I will need to modify css for this intro text.

    Thanks for your answer 🙂
