    Seems like this must have been asked before, but I searched and didn't find any reference.

    Just as categories are displayed in the post meta, I want custom taxonomy terms there as well

    Searching around the internet, I finally found what I was looking for.

    My taxonomy name is Topics (slug: topic)

    Here is the shortcode for adding custom taxonomy to post meta (or post info)

    [post_terms before="Topics:" taxonomy="topic"]
