    I'm using the Focus Theme. I'sd like to create a home page and just a few other pages. I don't want a blog, but rather an attractive static page.

    Should I create a "Home" page and put its address in the "Home" option in the Menu Structure?

    If you only want a home page, you would create a page that you want to represent your home. Then go to Settings > Reading and set that page as the Home page. When you attach the Home to the Menu it will go to the correct place.
