I'm working on a custom theme using the Themecore starter theme. I added the logo but I cannot figure out how to remove the text that says "Genesis Framework supports html5 and mobile responsive design". How do I remove/ hide that text? It's driving me nuts. Here's the linl Betsy Dayhttp://betsy-day.com/
You added the logo from Appearance -> Header page. Remove your logo from there. Now rename your logo file with logo.png and upload this file in images folder of your activated genesis child theme. It will automatically replace with your site logo.
Line 1764 in your theme's styles.css. The line reads: background: url('images/logo.png') no-repeat left;
It's a logo from your theme's image directory. Just comment out the line:
// background: url('images/logo.png') no-repeat left;
@Victor Font Currently his logo is not placed in right position. It is not center with menu. If he'll follow my instruction then I think that his logo will place in correct position.
Here's the step by step instructions for beginners. http://wpsites.net/web-design/add-header-image-logo-to-genesis-2-0-sample-theme/
Make sure you change the Genesis > Theme Settings > Header to Use for site title/logo: Logo
