    I am using the Magazine Pro child with the Genesis Featured post widget on the homepage. I currently have it set to show all the new post. Is there a way to exclude on category from showing up on the homepage?

    You would need to find a extended version of the widget which includes a setting to exclude categories or includes a filter which enables you to exclude a category from the home page loop.
