    How Do I remove the author name "BY [email protected]" and instead use some other author name?

    I suspect this doesn't have to do with as much with Balance as it does the profile setting.

    From the WordPress dashboard try going to Users > My Profile and check the field titled Display name publicly as. If you would like to change that value, select something different from the dropdown menu. If there are no other values, provide a first name (for the first name field), a last name (for the last name field) and/or a nickname and Save.

    Then go back into the profile page and select another value from the dropdown menu under Display name publicly as. The value you select will change what is displayed.
