I know there is a way to use conditionals to make this happen, but so far, I keep getting php errors (if I try to add conditionals in the functions.php file) or else nothing is happening (if I try to use Genesis Simple Hooks plugin).

All I want to do is limit the display of the site tagline area and the "As seen in banner" that I have in place with a hook after the header ONLY on the home page. I do not want those two elements of the front page to appear anywhere else on the site.

    Please advise.

    Thank you!

Add to the front-page file or use the is_front_page() conditional tag.

I've seen things about using is_front_page(), but I'm not sure how would i use the conditional tag with the Genesis Simple Hooks? Or am I even able to create a conditional within a hook?
