    Hello,

Whenever I check my site on any online Seo checker tool, I find the following tags showing up in the header tag list:

    <h2>Reader Interactions</h2>
    <h2>Primary Sidebar</h2>
    <h2>Footer</h2>

I wonder is it correct to have these elements visible to the search engines, since it may be sending a wrong message to the search engine regarding the keywords?

Is there any method to remove these elements from getting exposed to the search engine bots.

I want only the widget headers selected by me to be visible in the header list. For example only the selected widget titles such as Categories, Recent comments, Popular post etc should be visible, as per their placements.

Your kind help will be greatly appreciated!

I don't know where you're seeing these elements. They are not in your source code. Use your browser's view source code tool to check for yourself.

Thank you for replying to my question.

I find these elements under "Heading Tags" when I check my site SEO health in websites like:

    https://seositecheckup.com/

    https://www.seocentro.com/tools/seo/seo-analyzer.html

Or any similar seo health checker tool.

You can confirm the same by checking any Genesis website in these tools.

    Thank you!
