I'm trying to configure my Home page in Daily Dish with the top, middle, and bottom widgets. But when I add one, the main feed of latest posts disappears. Is this how it is supposed to work?http://fruitionfitness.com
The child theme home page is not even displayed UNTIL you add widgets. What you see before the home page is just a standard WordPress page that displays posts. Some home pages allow the loop to display after the widgets. If you want to see blog posts and widgets, you may have to edit front-page.php to make sure the loop hasn't been removed.
Thanks...I understand now. I like the widget features of Daily Dish and am able to arrange them to replicate a recent feed and other features as well.
I feel kind of ridiculous not being able to figure this out because it seems like the opposite instructions you just gave:
So, if I'm using the Education Pro Theme... But I would like the widget features from the theme to be there, but I don't want the posts & sidebar on the homepage after the widgets. How do I go about that?
