Home Page Problems with Infinity Pro Theme

Hi:

I am running into several home page problems with the Infinity Pro theme.

#1) Using Shortcode on Home Page
When adding a shortcode in Front Page 3 in either the HTML or the text editor widget it does not display content properly. If I use the HTML widget the shortcode displays as is [flipboxes id="616"]... if I use the text editor widget it gets closer but does not display correctly. The correct display can be viewed on a page here: http://dsir-idx.flywheelsites.com/test/

Similiarly, another shortcode does not work on the home page from a completely different source. [showcaseidx_hotsheet name="Featured Gallery Display"] I am using this shortcode in Front Page 4 and it does not display results. When displayed on a page it does display results: http://dsir-idx.flywheelsites.com/test-2/

#2) Being Able to Select a Different Page As Home Page
To have tried to solve issue #1 by using a page as the home page. When selecting a different home page under settings > reading > and selecting a static page as the home page it will not display the selected page as the home page.

#3) Initially I ran into problems being unable to use the video widget on the home page and this is still causing me problems as I am fighting to get the text overlay to display properly using hard coding.

Try adding this to functions.php:

add_filter( 'widget_text', 'do_shortcode' );

Thank you Victor for the response and help. I added the code to the functions.php file and it worked for the Featured Gallery widget but still having issues with the Flip Box shortcode.
