    Hi,

I am trying to get my home main navbar menu label to actually link to the home / front page of the site not the actual page I created called 'home' which clearly has no content on it.

I installed Pretty Creative swapping from an Envato theme so am sorting things out.

I have the Appearance>Customise> site layout set as posts for the homepage so I can show the widgets. I also have the general WordPress Settings> set as posts.

I don't know what the latter should be set to - or whether one setting is conflicting with another, not whether my home page I created as a page need be there at all. Totally confused!

Help anyone? Tnx. I just wish to have the homepage looking like the demo, and yes, I did follow the instructions. That menu label Home is baffling me as to why it won't just load the homepage.

Go to the appearance/menus page in the admin area. Open your menu and make sure the Home menu is a custom link and not pointing to a particular page. The link only needs to be a single backslash. ( / ).

I will close this as resolved. These types of setup questions can be asked on the Pretty Darn Cute Design support forum:
