As I'm building my website with NewsPro, for some reason my Home button goes to the wrong url. It goes to http://yourmoneycanada.com/homepage/, instead of just http://yourmoneycanada.com/

I've messed around with the menus, but it doesn't give me an option to change it.

    Thoughts?

    Hey Rick,

As you might know that most of the WordPress themes comes with more than 1 home page design in that case the menus are also auto setup.

You have both Home pages are differents means you set "http://yourmoneycanada.com/" as your static page. But in TOP BAR MENU the "HOME" was default. So you need to Remove that HOME from TOP BAR MENU and choose the one your set as a Static page.

Let me know if you need more help. I can help you in realtime. Or you can share the Wp-admin details and I will sort this out for you.

    Thanks,

Genesis themes don't have a default home button. The home link on the menu or custom logo comes from the setting in WordPress Admin Settings General tab. Specifically, the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) fields.

If these fields are grayed out and inaccessible, it means that they are hardcoded in your wp-config.php file.

If you change the values of these fields, it will not update all the links in your database that are using the wrong URL.

Before you change the site URL, please see this article in the WordPress Codex: https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
