    Hi

    Pulling my hair our a little with this all i want to do is get the email input field and submit button on one line. Ideally I'd want different version one for pages and blog posts and one for my footer but just getting one done at this stage will be great.

    Note: I have done this on my after entry widget and it works fine but i cant copy and paste the same css and get it to work.

    I've tried tutorials from wpsites and feedback from others but nothing is working even though it seems very simple. I have some kind of cache with my host which i've disabled and cleared/ flushed. I've cleared my browser cache I also use wp cache plugin which i've disabled. I have saved my style.css file but when i go to inspect element the new css isn't showing which seems to indicate a cache issue but as I mentioned I've flushed, cleared disabled everything.

    this was my original css:
    /* Genesis eNews Extended
    --------------------------------------------- */

    .enews-widget input {
    margin-bottom: 16px;
    }

    .enews-widget input[type="submit"] {
    margin: 0;
    width: 100%;
    }

    .after-entry .enews-widget input {
    width: 48.5%;
    }

    .after-entry .enews-widget input[type="submit"] {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #27aae1;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    margin: 0;
    width: 48.5%;
    }

    I've tried this:
    /* Genesis eNews Extended
    --------------------------------------------- */

    .enews-widget p {
    width: 100%;
    margin-top: 7px;
    margin-bottom: 0;
    }

    #subscribe {
    float: right;
    width: 100%;
    }

    .enews-widget input {
    float: left;
    width: 65%;
    margin: 0px;

    line-height: 1.5;
    }

    .enews-widget input[type="submit"] {
    width: auto;
    padding: 10px 34px;
    }

    #subbutton {
    width: 30%;
    line-height: 1.5;
    }

    .after-entry .enews-widget input {
    width: 48.5%;
    }

    .after-entry .enews-widget input[type="submit"] {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #27aae1;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    margin: 0;
    width: 48.5%;
    }

    and this (this is what i currently have:
    .enews-widget input {
    width: 40%;
    }

    .enews-widget input[type="submit"] {
    width: 30%;
    }

    The screenshots show you what my solution produces http://wpsites.net/web-design/horizontal-genesis-enews-e-mail-subscribe-box-inline-with-input-button/

    If it doesn't work for you then the problem is at your end.
