    I'm having trouble figuring out how to display the manual excerpts for the featured posts on my home page. The featured posts default to the first 250 characters but the  manual excerpts appear fine in the teaser columns and all other pages.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    I tried that setting originally and double checked to make sure 'display post excerpt' was selected and it is. I have also changed the post types for this theme from 'feature' to 'teaser' and the problem seems to happen when the post type is set to 'feature'. When set as 'teaser' the manual excerpts appear correctly.

    I may just submit a ticket if I can't figure out why it's overriding the setting.

    And thanks for the help, I've bookmarked that site for reference.
