Help editing site description text size

I'm trying to change the text size of my site description, but i'm not having any luck. I'm using the most current versions of genesis, and wordpress; and i'm using the expose-pro child theme.

This is the original css in style.css
.site-description {
font-size: 14px;
font-weight: 300;
margin-bottom: 0;
}

First I tried editing it in my custom.css file, and then in the original style.css file. I kept the code the same changing the 14px to 20px. Neither option resulted in any change. Can someone help shed some light on this?

Looks like you have 2 rules

One at Line 65 and another at 265

Not sure where you pasted the second rule but i would stick to modifying the original style.css file and only use one rule.

You also look like you're using a caching or CSS minification plugin which may not immediately show CSS changes.

I think it must have been the cache. I emptied it, and the changes showed up.
