    Hi,

    RE: http://brisbanista.com.au

I was hoping someone can help me with continuous disc errors (space) showing up the disc log and SQL database folder. Everything is up to date.

Background: I upgraded to WordPress 5.0 before Christmas, and that is when all of the errors started happening. Twice a week... it seems to be either when someone publishes an article and/or an increase in visitors. I also swapped from http to https.

    Error message:
The user “XXXXXXX” (brisbanista.com.au) has almost reached their disk quota.
The account currently uses 86.89% (4.24 GB/4.88 GB) of its disk capacity.
The account currently uses 9.78% (19,556/200,000) of its available files.

    Wordpress Setup:
    WordPress 5
    Genesis Framework, Magazine Pro
Plugins: Askismet Anti-Spam, Broken Link Checker, Capability Manager Enhanced, Contact Form 7, Genesis Responsive Slider, Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights, Instagram Feed, Jetpack for WordPress.com, Loginizer, MetaSlider, MetaSlider - Pro Add on Pack, Official Facebook Pixel, Pinterest Pin It, Simple Social Icons, The Events Calendar, The Events Calendar: Community Events.

Is there anything you can suggest your end?

    Warm regards
    Emma

I just saw your post. This error message means you've run out of disk space on your host. You have to clean up some space or contact your host about purchasing more capacity.

Thanks, Victor. Yes, as a short term solution I am able to buy more hosting server space.

However, I'm keen to fix the error log messages and prevent the cause long term. The error log regularly becomes too big to download and have a look at.

Running out of disk space is something your host can help you with. You only spoke of that one error.

If your log file is growing large because of PHP errors, that’s something you may have to hire a dev to help you with. Another common cause of running out of disk space is too many backup files.

Whatever the case, there isn’t much we can do to help you from just looking at the front end of your site.
