I can't seem to control the header on my site.
When I add a new menu object the header suddenly gets a lot higher. I would like the header to be as small as possible.

Some tips on what to change in my CSS would be appreciated:)

I would also really like to center the menu in the header.

The width of your menu is 780px and you have padding of 20px on each side of every element you add to the menu. It's a question of math, the width of your link + 40px X 7 links might exceed the 780px.

So you have different solutions, increase the total width of your menu, which might interfere with your logo (which is invisible) or decrease the padding on your link tags.

Thank you very much! I will check my pixels:)

Actually, I would like to remove the logo area and center the meny in the header. Any tips about how that could be done?
