    Hi

    I'm trying to increase the size of the header image in the Foodie theme. At present it crops to 400px. Can you tell me where I should go to change this? I couldn't see where it is in CSS. I want to be able to make it the width of the page. my site is http://flourandaprons.com/

    You can change the size of your header by editing this snippet in the functions.php file:

    //* Add support for custom header.
    add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array(
    'width' => 400,
    'height' => 170
    )
    );

    Just replace the width and height with the dimensions of your header image. You'll also need to adjust the style.css file in this snippet:

    .header-image .site-title a {
    float: none;
    min-height: 164px;
    width: 100%;
    }

    by replacing the min-height property with the height of your image.

    Please keep in mind that any changes you make will also affect how the header is displayed on mobile devices. If your header is very wide, it may not look good for mobile.

    Hi! I'm having this problem, too. I'm new to blogging. Help!

    I would like the header to fit the entire page. It looks fine on my phone though. Originally it said the header size should be 800 x 340.

    I see where to make the changes in the coding. However, what size does it need to be in order to fit the entire width? I have been searching everywhere for the dimensions.

    Thank you!!!
    Tam
