I have a simple site that currently has a simple header for all posts/pages: Dynamic text (sitename and tagline) on the left and menu on the right. There is no header image, either foreground or background.
I have a non-blog front page, and the blog's home is on an inner "blogpage"
I would like the blogpage, archive(s) and individual posts to have a different header: either blogname plus tagline in text,: or a logo image. The menu would remain the same.
Using Dynamik Web Builder, by the way.
What's the least confusing method for getting what I need?
Brad: Thanks for the suggestion but as the plugin says: "This plugin lets you specify a header image for each post and taxonomy/author archive page individually,.."
It's OK if you want a full-width image, but I want either no image at all or just a small logo image to replace the title/tagline set. I want my main menu to remain in the right side of the header; and I don't want a large image to slow down my page load.
Another option is to hand code different header images using CSS or PHP code. Or you could use custom fields to add the images.
I am not using header images.
The only image I would use is a logo, instead of the title/description; but I'm trying not to use even a logo.
My preference is to use a title/description, but just a different title/description on the blog page and posts than I use on regular pages.
In other words, on blog pages there be title1/description1 and on other pages it would be title2/description2. On the right side of the header the menu would stay the same. There would be no background image.
