Header Featured Right & Header Featured Left in Prose Theme

Hi:

 

I was trying to add two more widgets to my prose theme (one for Home featured left, and the other one for Home featured right) but i get very frustrated with the responsive feature,  i want to add  a home introduction  (in the left side one photo, in the right side some text)  but i can´t, I tried different solution to do this  one with a  slider but it doesn't look right,   is there another solution, I already add another widget like Braddalton explain in one post "http://www.studiopress.community/topic/slider-on-prose/", also i add the home feature left widget and the home featured right, the only thing i get a little frustrated is with the responsive feature,  is there another easier solution?.
