Hello. I am attempting to change the size of my header to 550X200 pixels using the Gallery Pro theme. I changed the header dimensions in functions.php. It uploads just fine and shows that the dimensions are correct. Somehow, though, it still shows up on the user end as quite a few pixels smaller. In other words, the header appears smaller than 550X200 (it's nearly half the size) even though the dimensions are correct. What could be causing the header image to appear smaller than it should?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

while it´s not mentioned in the theme setup instructions, Gallery Pro uses the "full-size" in functions.php but in style.css the image is only shown at half-size (e.g. 800 x 340 in functions.php but 400 x 170 in style.css)

This is done so that the image looks crisp on Retina Displays.

If you want to show an image 550 X 200, Gallery Pro would expect you to change the size in functions.php to 1100 and 400 and to adjust .header-image .site-title a in style.css to 550 and 200.
