    How do I get posts on a home page to show as a summary only, not the full post? I've changed to 'summary' in the reading settings but it still shows as the full post.

    I'm using the Sixteen Nine theme but it does it even on standard WordPress themes. Am I missing something here?

    Try the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archive settings.
