Grid help

I am new to creating grid layouts and need some help understanding what goes where. I just installed the Mai Law Pro theme and in the home page sections, some of the sections require grids to display images.

Here is some code. I don't know what parent refers to and what that number corresponds to.

[grid content="page" parent="11" number="all" align="center" show="image, title, excerpt, more_link" more_link_text="Read More" image_size="thumbnail" image_align="center" boxed="false" entry_class="bottom-xs-xxl"]

Can someone please help?

Also, it’s best to get Mai Theme specific support via the chat bubble in our docs above as well.

The parent parameter just tells the grid to show all the child pages of a specific parent page by ID. Our demo has a parent page of Practice Area and all the the actual practice areas are each child pages of that page. So we tell grid what the parent is and it will only show child pages of that page.
