Hi.....I use Genesis / Parallax Pro.

I have Dfactory Cookie Notice Plugin and have copied and pasted the Google Analytics (gtag) code snippet into the Script Blocking

My question is do I also have to copy and paste this code into the Genesis => Theme Settings => Header Scripts?

Any help would be much appreciated

    Regards

    Paul

I know nothing about the Dfactory Cookie Notice Plugin you are using. This is just a guess but judging from the fact that you are placing the script in an area called Script Blocking, I am assuming that the script will be blocked from executing unless consent is given. Is that so?

If true, then placing the script in the Genesis Header area will defeat the purpose of the plugin's Script Blocking. The Genesis header executes scripts on every page.

You may want to ask the question of the Dfactory developers in their forum. As community volunteers, we can't know how every plugin may or may not interact with the framework.

    Hi Victor

Thanks for confirming I do not need to populate the Header scripts....your understanding of the plugin is spot on

I have raised a query with the Dfactory forum but hitherto no response

This ticket can now be closed

    Best Regards

    Paul
