I have a site using the Serenity Child Theme. The slider takes up the width of the page (900 px), I would like to make it so that it's only taking up 2/3rd's of the space (600 px) where it's currently at and then allow a form widget to appear directly to the right of the slider. However when I reduce the slider width, all it does is center the slider and the form shows up under the slider. What change can be made to the slider so that it's to the left and the form appears to the right of the slider instead of under it?

Change the hook to any location you want http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/

And use the conditional tag for the home page:
