Genesis Slider – show excerpt below image on mobile

The slider looks fantastic on the desktop, and 90% on the tablet (I had to make the text a little smaller than desired to fix the height issue). I love it that it's fast and swipe-enabled.

But when it comes to the phone, there is no way the heading and excerpt would not just cover up the whole image.

The problem is the inline css created by the options in genesis slider cannot be over-written, so I can't say .flex-slider {overflow:visible; max-height:1200px;}.

Also even though I have "hide content and title" disabled, it still doesn't show up. Don't know why. But even if it did, it would totally cover the image.

So how do we fix this? I would appreciate any nudge in the right direction.

You can dequeue the slider plugins CSS and then copy over and enqueue it in your child theme for easy modification

The css of the plugin can be overwriten with !important tags if the slider's css doesn't have !important as well. I opened the link you gave but all I see is whitespace. I should be able to give you an easy fix if you restore the visibility of your site.
