I'm using a weather widget I purchased on Code Canyon awhile ago, and the visual effects are in front of the Genesis Sample drop down menu by default.

Is this an issue the plugin developer should fix, or should StudioPress increase the z-index of the menu by default?

I think you'll be fine if you change the z-index on your .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu (line 987 in style.css) ... it's currently set to 99. I changed it to 999 in Chrome's Developer Tools and it came in front. HTH

Oh, I definitely know how to fix it, I was just wondering if it's in anyone's best interest to have StudioPress raise the index, or have the developer of the plugin lower theirs. It may prevent less informed users of either product from running into trouble in the future.
