Working on adjusting a Genesis Responsive Slider and having an issue with styling.

I want to have the title text a solid #ffffff and when hovered I want the text to be #21b24b.
Additionally, I'd like the title to be horizontally centered in the slider
(I'm not showing excerpt or content, just title)

Using JetPack and Custom CSS module to add to the stylesheet. I've reduced margins and padding to what I want but not able to get these two work right.

Theme is Magazine Pro but site is hidden behind an 'under construction' right now.
    Any ideas?

I think you'll have much better luck if we could see the site in question. What you're asking is too vague without being able to see it.
