Is there any way to have the Genesis Responsive Slider link to an external web page or web site?

Not directly, no. You could create your pages and use the Genesis SEO settings underneath the editor to redirect those pages to your external site--no content in the editor, just set your slider image as your featured image and set up the redirect--and then add those pages to your slider.

Another option would be to use a responsive slider like Soliloquy (which does have a lite version in the repo). With this plugin, you create your slides directly and link them to whatever content you want, wherever it is. (example: you can link slides in the same slider to posts or pages, but the Genesis one makes you pick posts or pages) Soliloquy is a premium plugin but it's worth it. (Not an affiliate)
