    Hi friends,

    I'm trying to vertically center the text of posts in the Genesis Responsive Slider for a site with the Foodie Pro theme.

    In the settings I've chosen posts with a particular tag to be shown. I wish to present text of varying lengths in the center of the window. I've been struggling with the CSS to get .slide-excerpt-border to do this. Here's my work so far, in all its incompleteness:

    #genesis-responsive-slider {
    	border: 1px solid #ddd !important; /*adds a border around the entire slider.*/
    	margin-top: 20px !important;
    	}

    .foodie-pro .slide-excerpt {
    		position: relative;
    	}

    .slide-excerpt-border {
    	height: 200px;
    	position: absolute;
    	left: 25%;
    	}

    .slide-excerpt-border p {
    	background-color: pink;
    	text-align: center;
    	width: 50%;
    }

    I'd appreciate your help here. Thanks so much.

    Hi friends,

    I found what looks to be a GREAT site to help everyone with vertical centering across browsers: answer some questions and it gives you the CSS you need — fast and free. TERRIFIC.

    Check it out here: http://howtocenterincss.com/

    Good luck with your own centering challenges!
