    You can see what I'm working on here:

    Hoping someone can help me out with an issue I'm having with this site. I've banged my head on this for hours and can't figure this out.

    I'm sure a fresh set of eyes on this from someone a bit more savvy than myself, hopefully this can be resolved fairly easily.

    I've customized the Minimum Pro Theme to remove the full width static image on the home page and have Soliloquy slider in its place.

    When you drop the view port down to 720px or less you get the drop down navigation menu, this works fine on all pages except the home page where the slider has been added. You'll notice that you can't click the menu items on the bottom line of the navigation because there is padding from the slider below overlapping the menu items.

    I've used the Google Chrome Code Inspector, and notice that if I highlight the widget area class on the slider

    <div class="home-slider">
        <aside class="widget-area">

    I can change the aside class from block to inline, then the bottom row of navigation links will work.

    The problem is I can't figure out anyway to actually get that change to take effect in my custom CSS file.

    I'm sure I'm just missing something stupid, but have looked at so long I'm missing it.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    It looks like you've got this fixed. If yes, please mark this thread resolved.

    If you still have a problem, how can we help?

    Yes, I did resolve this sort of. Although not exactly how I wanted.

    I had set the .site-header to a fixed height, and when I commented that out the problem went away, but it did result in some other issues. I still need to mess around with it when I find some time.

    .site-header {
    /* height: 85px; */
