    Hi,

    I have Genesis with the News Child Theme. I have been using the layout with the header full-width and then the main are below with a sidebar on the right. I would like to have this design be the layout for all the pages on my site except my homepage. I would like the homepage to be one full-width area.

    I have no idea how to do this - is it a simple couple clicks? Do I need a plugin? Code?

    Any advice or suggestions would be very appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Ted

    To change the front page to full width, you need to edit home.php. Look for the following line of code:

    add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );

    and change it to:

    add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
