Genesis Hooks

Hi People,

I am using this hook to display some content "genesis_entry_content" on a specific page, the only problem is I want the page content to display first and then my addition content...

Which hook do I use to accomplish this?

You can do this one of two ways:

(1) You can use a priority in your function to tell the content to display after the normal page content: http://www.web-savvy-marketing.com/2014/01/how-to-use-genesis-hooks/

(2) You could use a different hook that will display after the page content, like genesis_after_entry. This reference will help if you haven't seen it already: http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/

Hi Nustandbolts (Nice name by the way 🙂 )

Thanks, I have tried the obvious one which is the "genesis_entry_content" BUT this doesn't seem to work.

Basically this is what I have done.,...Registered a new sidebar/widget area....NOW I want to add the widget within the new area to my page.......BUT when I do this using the hook, the content of the new widget area is appearing above the pages already there content "If that makes sense".

That's where priority kicks in - you can assign a number (see the priority section on the first link I posted before) that will give the widget area a lower priority than the page content. Or you could try genesis_entry_footer, which should move the widget area below the content.
