    Hi

I'm trying to implement Genesis Featured Posts on my homepage https://bit.ly/2mGU6FG In Google Chrome (both Mac and Android phone) the images are broken when I'm logged out. They're working with Google Chrome Mac when I'm logged in.

Seems to be working OK with Safari and Firefox on a Mac.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Chris

I've cleared the cache (using WP Fastest Cache) and it seems to have fixed the problem. Before that, I'd found other broken images using Google Chrome.

Seems to be working OK now!

    Thanks

    Hi

After some intermittent issues with Featured Posts images disappearing, I've got a solution which has fixed it. Here are the issues and the fix in case someone else has the same problem.

Issue: Images not being pulled through on the Genesis Featured Posts widget. It appeared to be an intermittent issue in Chrome. The second time I checked it in Firefox - I got a browser mixed content (http and https) warning.

I checked the back-end and all my Media files were pointing to http. I had moved the site to https but only by the quick method using Cloudflare (which serves the site in https to customers but only at a Cloudflare layer and not the actual website back-end).

I got in touch with my amazing hosting company Siteground (I can't speak highly enough of them) and requested that they help me:

    1) Change all my image files in the database to https
    2) Move the site to Let's Encrypt https and make any changes to Cloudflare

They did both and the issue has now been fixed.

Hope that's useful to other people with similar issues.

    Thanks

    Chris
