Hello, below are the properties for the default genesis favicon. Does anyone know how to replicate this type of file? It is an .ico file but is PNG image data. Thank, Kristie

    favicon.ico
    PNG image data, 32 x 32, 8-bit/color RGB, non-interlaced

    1. Create image with size 32 X 32 in png format. Name your file as favicon.png
    2. Open this online converter http://www.convertico.com/
    3. Convert png to ico
    4. Now delete favicon.ico and upload your newly created favicon.ico

Hi. Thanks for the recommendation. I've tried a LOT of different online converters, but even the one you recommended to me does not retain the png image data or 32x32 size. 🙁

I suppose I will keep looking. Or, change the code and use a PNG favicon instead of an ico favicon.

Use Greenfish Icon Editor Pro. Download that software from the web. I myself used it so many times and it really works 🙂
