    I'm using the most current versions of every component as it relates to my current setup and hosting environment:

    PHP Version: 5.5.24
    WordPress Version: 4.3.1
    Genesis Version: 2.2.2
    Child Theme Version: Minimum Pro Theme 3.0.1

    Note: I also have the most current version of 2015 theme installed

    I notice that when I activate 2015, everything in the admin panel behaves as expected. But when I activate Genesis 2.2.2 by itself, or when I activate both Genesis 2.2.2 and the child theme Minimum Pro 3.0.1, the "Header" option under "Appearance" disappears. This makes it impossible to add a custom header image.

    Is this a defect in the most recent release of Genesis 2.2.2?

    Can anybody else report the same behavior? Driving me nuts. Thanks for your help.

    Note: I've been working localhost (which has worked well for years). Working on getting a live site to post a link. Just thought I'd go ahead and post this initial inquiry.

    Support for a custom header is a WordPress feature, not Genesis. Make sure your functions.php has code like this:

    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
    	'width'           => 320,
    	'height'          => 60,
    	'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
    	'header-text'     => false
    ) );

    Victor: Boom! That was it. for some reason this code was commented out in my child theme functions.php for Minimim Pro 3.0.1. I wonder why?
