    The message Genesis 2.5.2. is available, check out what's new or update now, keeps appearing on top of my screen.
    When I click 'Update now' it says 'The theme is at the latest version.'

    'Click here to complete the upgrade'

    When I click it, it's not updating. Version still is 2.4.2.

    Tried it several times, but it's not working.

    Can someone give me a hint how to fix this?

    This could possibly be an issue with your database. Other than that, I'm not sure how to help! Hopefully someone else will.

    It would probably be easier to just update manually. Download the latest version from the download area, extract everything from the zip file, and FTP it all to the wp-content/themes/genesis directory.

    I uploaded the genesis files and the message disappeared so it's solved for now. thanks!
