    Hi. Does anyone know how to make the Generate theme home page a static page, but keep the header?

    When I go into options-reading and change the home page to a static page the generate box header disappears?

    Thanks

    Nick

    What if you install the generate box plugin?

    Ah ha, that did the trick! I didn't realise there was a plugin for it, the help files just say to copy and paste the code supplied across into the generate box widget . Thanks for that, I know someone else struggling with that too, I'll pass it on.

    I have come up agains an issue with it though I can't seem to fix. How to change the background image. The grey background the plugin references is not the one on my server. It should be images/generatebox-bg.png but it doesn't seem to be pulling it in as I've changed that image to a custom one. I've changed it both in the root generate images folder and the 'orange' folder too just in case, but neither seem to be being pulled in.

    CSS...

    #generate-box .wrap {
    -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 2px #999;
    -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 2px #999;
    background: url(images/generatebox-bg.png) repeat-x top #212121;
    border: 1px solid #fff;
    box-shadow: 0 0 2px #999;
    clear: both;
    color: #9f9f9f;
    min-height: 195px;
    margin: 2px auto 0;
    padding: 30px;
    text-shadow: -1px -1px #000;
    width: 898px;
    }
