    I have some 6-7 items to be added in the Primary Menu / Navigation. In Generate Pro's menu bar (primary navigation, the one that appears below the navigation),

  • the spacing between two menu items is a bit more and
  • so is the space between the text and the surrounding border that appears on hover
  • .

    How do I reduce it?

It sounds like you want to change the spacing between menu items. You can do this in Generate Pro by changing the second pixel value in your stylesheet at line 1020 to something less than 24.

.genesis-nav-menu li a {
    color: #222;
    display: block;
    padding: 22px 24px;
}
