I am working on this site: http://www.saragraybill.com/boulder/ and I would like to the navigation to be full width. I just haven't been able to make that happen. Any suggestions?

    Hi Sara,

Are you wanting to space out the top-level menu items across the width of the page? It looks like the navigation menu is already full-width, it just doesn't sufficient content to fill out that space. If you don't want to add any more to the top-level menu, you could do some editing to the stylesheet to space them out.

It's hard to know the right path to take without knowing more of what you want. How do you want it to look in the end?

    Cheers!

    Pat

Thanks Pat for your reply. I'm wanting the bottom border and shadow to be span the full width of the browser. The actual nav content is fine. I found a post detailing how to do this and I thought I followed all the steps but I can't seem to get it to work.

    Sara,

Right now your #nav is inside your #header .wrap which is set at 960px. For the #nav to go full width it would need to be outside of that 960 wrap. The easiest thing to do is to move it after the #header and before the #inner.

Here's some tips on how to do that: http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/navigation-menus/

    Hope that helps!
