I was trying to get the full width navigation menu with sample theme.  I checked some of the examples from site like: http://gregrickaby.com/ and found that he managed to get the placement exactly the way I was thinking but he's using minimum theme and not sample theme.

Is there any code snippet that lets me have :

    1) Full width menu

    2) Blog title in the same navigation strip

Is it possible with sample theme?

Sample theme does support full width layout, like here http://demo.studiopress.com/layouts/fwc

Just goto Genesis > Theme Settings and select full width layout under "Default Layout" section. Regarding more custom look like in this http://gregrickaby.com/ website, you need to make lot of css style changes (no setting for that).
