ParticipantHello, everyone,
https://www.belliniphotoart.it
I'm thinking of coming back with Genesis themes and installing the infinity pro theme, and I'd like to ask a question:
How can I replace the full-screen photograph in the header with a full-screen presentation with 3 or 5 images?
Thanks in advance, IgorDecember 14, 2018 at 8:13 am #225049Victor Font
ModeratorShridhar has a tutorial for this: https://sridharkatakam.com/video-background-infinity-pro/

ParticipantThank you Victor for your answer.
I'm looking for a slideshow made with photographs and not videos.
Maybe I could use soliloquy or royal slider or something like that but I don't know how to put it in the header.December 20, 2018 at 9:38 am #225165belliniphotoart
Participantso no one can advise me on how to put a slider in the infinity pro header?

ModeratorSlide shows are not generally placed in the header because the header is on every page.
Infinity Pro has been my goto theme for the last half-dozen or so sites I built for clients. Slideshows usually go into the front-page-1 widget area.
If you use Soliloquy, create your slideshow and use the Soliloquy widget in the front-page-1 widget area.
If you genuinely want to use the slideshow on the header, it requires custom programming to add a shortcode in a header hook. Alternately, you could use the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin and add the shortcode to the header that way.

Participantyes Victor you're right, I explained it wrong, I meant to insert a slider in front-page-1 background

ModeratorWhy in the background? Are you planning to use text on top of the slider? What's your end goal here?
It's so much easier if you use the slider shortcode and widget the slider plugins provide. Running something in the background that isn't designed for it is tricky, can cause performance problems, and almost always requires custom programming.
There are a few slider plugins that allow for layering text on top of sliders. You can also use a slider widget and text widget together. You can layer the text on top of the slider with CSS.

ParticipantYes Victor, I'd like to use text on the slider. So I'll use the layer slider plugin
