I'd like to create a full screen featured image with text overlay (like the parallax pro homepage widgets) for each page. Anyone done that before, any ideas? thanks.

Sridhar has a tutorial for doing this which I used on Parallax and it works a treat.

How to overlay entry title on featured image in single Posts

It's for posts but in the comments Sridhar explains how to do it for pages.
