I'm helping a friend with her blog, which is using the Lifestyle theme. Does that particular theme allow for both full-length and truncated posts? If not, is there a way to allow for that using code?

In the Genesis Theme Settings, look under Content Archive - you can use full content, content limit or execerpt.

Can you use a combination of the two? One full length post and the rest truncated, for example?

Can someone please respond to my response? Thank you.

First let me start off with this... this is a community forum where responses are pretty much made by volunteers. It states at the top that "Responses in this forum are not guaranteed." One thing people don't realize is that this board is worldwide and not everyone responding on here is in the same time zone. So please be patient and someone will respond to you when and if they have the proper response.

With that said, the answer to your question is, "No" - at least not with the default Archive page. You can always create a new archive template and give it what you want. Or you can use the Genesis Widgetized Archive which was developed by David Decker - http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-widgetized-archive/.

Sorry. I do appreciate all the work that goes into this forum and all the good advice the volunteers supply to us. I know it takes a lot of time. Thank you.

And thank you for your response and the link. I appreciate it.
