    My Genesis Theme setting for default l`ayout is set to having a right sidebar. I'd like to keep it that way.

    I also would like to force the homepage (and the subsequent pagination of the homepage) to be full width. So here is the code I thought would do the job but it doesn't work.

    function homepage_fullwidth() {
        if ( is_home() ) {
    		add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
        }
    }

    Any idea hwy?

    Thanks

    Have you hooked that function in?

    Try adding:

    add_action( 'genesis_meta', 'homepage_fullwidth' );

    right before the function.

    Hi Greg!

    Is always genesis_meta the recommended hook to use genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout?

    Thanks for your time!

    There may be others that work. The key is to hook into something that is called before the action you want to take.

    Thanks guys. I ended up putting that line of code inside home.php in my child theme and it worked.
