    Hi,

    I'm not sure what happened to my footer-widgets background color. I have customized the News Pro Theme to my liking but did not touch the footer-widgets CSS Code.

    The following is in the style.css:

    .footer-widgets {
    background-color: #000;
    color: #fff;
    clear: both;
    padding: 40px 40px 16px;
    }

    But when Firebug inspects the code it reads:

    .footer-widgets {
    clear: both;
    color: #fff;
    padding: 40px 40px 16px;
    }

    The "background-color: #000;" is missing and I don't know why. Would anyone have an idea what might be the problem?

    Thanks,
    Peter

    When I look at your style.css I find some weird characters close the background-color definition:

    .footer-widgets {
    Â Â Â Â background-color: #000;
        color: #fff;
        clear: both;
        padding: 40px 40px 16px;
    }

    I suggest to delete the row and add it again, this should solve the issue.
