    I'm building a new color scheme to add the existing stylesheet and I want to mod the footer also. At present it remains static in color #443e2c(Brown) for all the included theme colors. I want to modify the color in my new color scheme only so I know I could copy & past the .site-footer in my color scheme with the color I choose.
    My question is, by putting the new color in my color scheme will it override the default as set in the existing .site-footer?

    I'm modifying the Going Green theme on my localhost so can't provide link.
