    Ever since I installed my google analytics in my website (the correct way) all the items in my footer have disappeared. They are still in my widget section but don't show up on my website.

    Please help

    Have you added any code in functions.php that might affect this?

    Have you tried contacting StudioPress support?

    Have you added any code in functions.php that might affect this? - not to my knowledge I just added the usual analytics code to the functions.php

    If you remove the GA code, are the footer widgets coming back on the site?

    Good point! I just removed the code saved and viewed my site but the footer did not come back.

    hmmm wonder what has turned the footer off?

    Can you paste the code present in the child theme's functions.php at http://www.pastebin.com and give us a link?

    where do i find the functions.php page in the child theme?

    I pasted the google analytics code in Genesis > theme > header & footer scripts

    (boy this gets confusing sometimes lol)

    WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Editor.

    Click on 'Theme Functions' at the right.

    Deleted some code in my side bar for an affiliate site and my footer showed up! ... problem solved 🙂
