    Hello!

    Today I've made the switch from the Blissful to Foodie theme and have stumbled across a couple of questions, I'm hoping the community here can help answer for me.

    1) I've inserted Google ads into the 'Top Ad' widget 'Footer 3' widget and also a sidebar text widget. The ads show up when I view in Firefox or Safari private browsing, but not when I view my site through regular Safari.

    I have no ad blockers set-up. Why can't I see the ads on my own site through Safari?

    2) I've set up some posts to show with a 150 x 150 featured image in the 'Home Top' area using Genesis - Featured Widget Amplified. The text excerpt appears to touch the image it is so close. How can I increase the space between the right-hand side of the image and the start of the text?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    The ads are showing up fine for me on desktop safari and ff. Could be a cache issue. Try clearing your cache and see if they show for you.

    To fix the image issue, on your theme's style.css file (around line 796), adjust the margin:

    .featured-content img,
    .featuredpost img {
        display: block;
        margin: 0 15px 10px 0;
        margin: 0 1.5rem 1rem 0;
    }

    If the issue is just on your home page, instead of adjusting the code above, add this code below it:

    .home .featured-content img,
    .home .featuredpost img {
        display: block;
        margin: 0 15px 10px 0;
        margin: 0 1.5rem 1rem 0;
    }

    That will only change the margin on the home page images, not the inner pages.

    Hope that helps!

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

    Thank you - that code worked perfectly !

    I'm still not seeing the ads when I look at my site (logged into WP) . I've cleared my cache and still no change.
    Oh well. No biggie, I guess. I just can't figure out what has changed. It's only since I switched to Foodie.

    Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.
