I want to change the font in Focus Pro theme to the default font of Genesis sample theme, which I understand is Lato font.

In the style.css of Sample theme, there is not much code regarding font. However, in Focus Pro, there are a lot.

If I change the font-family, it does not change the font to Lato. What am I missing?

You are missing providing your site's URL here so we can check for you 🙂

Make sure that when you update, that you are saving your stylesheet; if it is still not displaying, clearing any caching plugin that you have, then clear your browser's cache, history, and cookies.
